Supporting Mark Calder running for EMBRACE the Middle East

Polwarth Church supports the charity EMBRACE the Middle East with a focus at Harvest and Christmas. Mark Calder, their regional manager for Scotland the North of England, who visited the church at Harvest last year, is attempting to run ultra-marathons in 2019 using ancient pilgrimage routes in the same location as his work. In total he will run 1750plus miles! All in aid of helping Iraqi Christians seeking to return to their homes and lives after the defeat of ISIS. He started the first and shortest last Sunday: from Dunfermline Abbey to Glasgow Cathedral and completed it. Well done and congratulations, Mark!
