Monday 3 December we explored the old shops of Edinburgh and thought about the future developments.
Monday 19 November the Guid Blether will be IMAGINE BEING THERE. Come and find out what that is all about at 2pm. Refreshments will arrive about 3pm. This leaves plenty of time for more blether until 4pm.
Monday 5 November we meet to discuss ‘Reflections on Newhaven’ with lots of photographs of the day to see. A great time was had by everyone. Refreshments as usual. Join us between 2 and 4pm for a Guid Blether and meet new friends.

We chat, blether and enjoy each other’s company. What do we blether about? It’s not the weather or our latest ailments, but all sort of subjects from games we used to play to the trams. We all have various opinions and ideas and this leads to lively discussion, and sometimes goes off to something completely different. We bring exciting and varied topics and ideas to our sessions, using computer and projector to illustrate our topics. Guid Blethers offers an opportunity to make new friends, share interests and stories, exchange ideas and views. It may be you feel isolated or lonely and want company. Being in a group, getting involved and participating, can give a sense of value, belonging and well-being. We also have fun and tea and cake!
