Sunday Service

September 16, 2018 11:00 am September 16, 2018 12:00 pm Europe/London Sunday Service

Sunday 30 September: The service at 11am will be conducted by our minister, Jack Holt, and member of the congregation. The Twenty-Sixth Week of Ordinary Time.  From now until the season of Advent the Old Testament reading will guide the preaching. We will conclude the congregation’s annual Stewardship season. This year we have acknowledged the many gifts we receive from God and remind ourselves that these gifts should be used to praise God the giver. This week: The way we use our money and other possessions is one indication of our willingness to praise God in every aspect of our lives. We are expected to display a sharing, unselfish attitude in the way we use these resources at our disposal. The service will include the Public Profession of Faith and Confirmation and also the Celebration of the Sacrament of Communion. There will be provision for children activities led by a new team of volunteer adult leaders, beginning in the Hall.. So we welcome the return of our children and their parents. Do join us for refreshments in the adjoining Hall after the service. A WARM WELCOME IS EXTENDED TO OUR VISITORS.
