An exciting day is planned on Saturday 16 June 2 – 4 pm. The pontoon and moorings provided by Scottish Canals will be opened by Brian McInally of Scottish Canals and blessed by our minister Rev. Jack Holt at 2pm and then the fun can begin. Sundaes are on offer at £3, with a drink and home made cake £3 and juice at 50p. Watch the narrowboats travel past us and hopefully some will stop and christen our new pontoon. All monies raised will be used to help us purchase a narrowboat. The Canal Shed will be with us so come and find out what they do on Wednesdays in the Drennan Hall by visiting their stalls. Musicians will play during this time to enahance the atmosphere. A fun day for all the family is ensured. Do come and join us.
